Very well made replica of the Wolfe guitar Doug Irwin made Jerry. This was made by a very talented woodworker (Mike Eddins) but he was not a trained luthier and did not install a truss rod. That's its biggest downfall, the wood work is immaculate The abalone Inlay in the headstock is in Memory of the Jerry and reads "Garcia" in mother of pearl with a classic dead rose..beautiful Inlay work imo. It's smooth, well done and should last. Neck is straight, the high e string buzses a bit on the top 2 frets- the b string buzzes on the 2nd fret. That's the only issue I have with it and not having a truss rods means I can't seem to adjust the buzz out- but otherwise she plays like she should.

Same lineup of single coil, 2x Humbuckers, you can toggle 5 ways to get tones..all wired up to mirror Doug Irwins layout. Got the brass plates, they need a good polish but it's a nice, solid, heavy piece.
I consider it a collectors item more than a guitar but it's both- it definitely plays..I wouldn't sell it to someone who wanting a gigging guitar, maybe a cover band to break out for a few songs kinda thing.
